Szenische Führung zu Holbein und Dostojewski
Während seines Aufenthalts 1868 in Basel hat der Schriftsteller Fjodor Dostojewski das Kunstmuseum besucht, und Holbeins Bild Christus im Grabe hat einen derartigen Eindruck auf ihn gemacht, dass seine Ehefrau Anna Grigorjewna jeden Moment den Ausbruch eines epileptischen Anfalls befürchtete. Davon und von weiteren Begebenheiten des Aufenthalts wissen wir aus Anna Grigorjewnas Tagebüchern. Die Begegnung mit dem Bild floss zudem in den Roman «Der Idiot» ein, an dem Dostojewski zu dieser Zeit arbeitete. Maria Thorgevsky und Dan Wiener nehmen diese historische Begebenheit und Dostojewskis 200. Geburtstag zum Anlass, eine spezielle szenische Führung im Kunstmuseum Basel anzubieten.
Die Schauspielerin Maria Thorgevsky und der Schauspieler Dan Wiener haben seit ihrer Begegnung 1989 mit ihrem Theaterensemble unzählige Bühnenprogramme produziert, oft basierend auf historischen oder literarischen Vorlagen. Dabei waren sie in einem breiten Spektrum von Theater, Kabarett und Konzerten in ganz Europa erfolgreich tätig.

To mark the Queer Festival, the Kunstmuseum is opening its studio and inviting everyone to come get in the mood for the parade together. Design a protest sign in all the colors of the rainbow or show your solidarity with a button you’ve made yourself. Find your creative voice and celebrate diversity with us!
