«Gaslicht» Performance von Jessica Jurassica
Gaslicht ist ein performatives Heilungsmoment von Jessica Jurassica (Text und Performance), Belia Winnewisser (Sound und Vocaldesign) und Anna Dippert (Szenografie und Lichtdesign).
Jessica Jurassica benennt psychische Gewalt auf verschiedenen Ebenen und springt von MTV und Britney Spears zum viel zu spät eingeführten Frauenstimmrecht in der Schweiz, von Louise Bourgeois und Verena Stefan zu persönlichen Erfahrungen in Nahbeziehungen. Gaslicht handelt von Träumen und Traumata, Sprache und Sprachlosigkeit, Häutung und Heilung, von gesellschaftlichen Hegemonien und dem Innersten der Psyche.
Louise Bourgeois hatte mit den «Cells» ihre Traumata isoliert und sie in Ausstellungsräume gestellt. Sie sind gleichzeitig geschützte und durchlässige Räume, wobei der Schutz nicht unbedingt physisch ist, sondern durch die Kraft des künstlerischen Ausdrucks wirkt. Gaslicht greift die Idee der «Cells» auf und interpretiert sie mit szenografischem Lichtdesign, Sound, Text und Performance neu. Aus den genannten Elementen wird ein Raum geschaffen, in welchem Schmerz und Traumata performativ ausgebreitet und psychische Gewalt benennt und überwunden werden kann. So wird die Performance zum öffentlichen Heilungsmoment, zur Überwindung der Sprachlosigkeit, die der Erfahrung psychischer Gewalt folgt.
