Mitmach-Mittwoch: Models and Portraits
On the occasion of the special exhibition on art collector Gertrude Dübi-Müller, we will focus on modelling in November. Dübi-Müller was herself a photographer and was often portrayed by major artists of her time. From photographic self-portraits to life drawing, we will explore different portrait techniques and ask ourselves what it means to pose as a model for someone. Every Wednesday. Ages 14 and up. To escape the onset of winter, this Sunday we dive into the world of the oceans! Open Studio: Gifts That Shine
During winter, the nights grow longer and the stars shine all the brighter! Whether as coordinates for sailors, zodiac signs for astrologers or festive companions at Christmas – stars hold a special meaning all around the world. In the Open Studio, we explore this versatile symbol and create our own stars using paper, fabric, cardboard, wool or wood. We cut, fold, knot, build and experiment, creating all kinds of celestial bodies. In our little gift workshop, you can also make personal gifts for friends and family and wrap them straight away in your own handmade wrapping paper. Open to everyone.
