Three tango evenings bring to light a surprising chapter from Gertrud Dübi-Müller’s life: her passion for tango as an expression of a modern way of life.

Inspired by her letters, which recount tango tea parties, dance lessons, and lavish celebrations, live music, tango dancers, and a tango café will transform the Eventfoyer at Neubau into a historic dance salon.

The workshop and social dance invite participants of all skill levels to join in—an opportunity to experience this special atmosphere for yourself. Social dance refers to dancing freely with different partners. This gives participants the opportunity to put what they’ve learned in the workshop into practice with different dancers. On October 21 and December 9, the Tanda 4 tango orchestra will perform; on November 25, Mario De Camillis will be the DJ.

With the Tanda 4 tango trchestra, the tango school run by Mario De Camillis and Guggi Zuzáková, and the dance couple Aaron and Steffi.

Through their interplay, the quartet creates the atmosphere of a lively milonga and impressively showcases the intensity, mystique, and elegance of the music of the Río de la Plata. Featuring Fernando Maguna (piano), Juan Braceras (violin), Federico Abraham (double bass), and Pablo Löhle (bandoneon).
