Whether delicate pink or stormy blue—together we will immerse ourselves in the world of colors and draw inspiration from the paintings of artist Helen Frankenthaler.

Need a break from your parents? When a new exhibition opens at the Kunstmuseum, there's something special for you too: your own opening just for children!

Discover exciting stations where you can participate, explore, and experience. A trained team will look after you—your parents don't have to be there. For children between the ages of 4 and 12. With the kind support of the Freunde des Kunstmuseums Basel.

Hint: Limited number of participants. Please book your ticket in advance via ticket link and arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the children's vernissage. We reserve the right to reallocate seats that have not been claimed by 5.45 p.m.
