Farewell celebration for Director Josef Helfenstein
Tributes come from Dr. Felix Uhlmann, the President of the Art Commission of the Kunstmuseum Basel, Beat Jans, the Governor of the Canton of Basel-Stadt, as well as an internationally known surprise guest.
The premiere of the performance "Echo" by Armando Braswell and Julian Nicosia, dancers and choreographers from Basel, is being presented. In 'Echo,' dancers Armando Braswell and Or Schraiber embark on an artistic journey through dance. This duet explores reflection and the echoes we leave behind. A poetic contemplation on departure and continuity, 'Echo' merges movement, light, and words into a poignant, unforgettable experience. It's a celebration of the lasting echoes we create as we move forward.
