During winter, the nights grow longer and the stars shine all the brighter! Whether as coordinates for sailors, zodiac signs for astrologers or festive companions at Christmas – stars hold a special meaning all around the world. In the Open Studio, we explore this versatile symbol and create our own stars using paper, fabric, cardboard, wool or wood. We cut, fold, knot, build and experiment, creating all kinds of celestial bodies. In our little gift workshop, you can also make personal gifts for friends and family and wrap them straight away in your own handmade wrapping paper. Open to everyone.
